Nine people have been arrested in connection with an incident at Belgrave Gate during the early hours of this morning (Sunday) in which three people were stabbed.

Police were called at 4:08 a.m. to report a fight on Abbey Street, Leicester.

Officers attended where two men, both in their 20s, were found at Belgrave Gate with stab wounds. Both were taken to hospital where they currently remain. One of the men has been reported to be in serious but stable condition. The second man suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-threatening.

A third man, about 20 years old, was rushed to hospital shortly after the incident. He reported that he had suffered a stab wound in the incident. He is currently in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

After the first investigations at the scene, nine people have been arrested, aged 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27 and 28, related to the facts. All are currently in custody.
