Where else could you start? What a debut for the Uruguayan. What a standing ovation he was given, and what a hero he looks to be to Liverpool fans. Well, he got into the nitty-gritty and, in stoppage time, he got his reward. A first goal for the Reds, and it certainly won’t be the last.

It didn’t take long for the Liverpool right-back to make the move, did it? Another beautiful goal gave the Reds the lead. He has scored 13 goals for the club, and 10 have been from outside the penalty area. His passing is truly a joy to watch, and defensively he has clearly improved. He remains key for Liverpool.

Núñez aside, Jurgen Klopp’s great selection was the one who would accompany Virgil van Dijk in defense. Matip got the nod and put in a good performance up front. Has he been booked for Fulham in the process?
