One person has died after a tragic drowning at Rotary Sunshine Park on Friday afternoon.
Shortly before 5:00 pm on Canada Day, the St. Louis Regional Fire Department. John was called to Thorburn Road Park as he saw a swimmer fighting in the water and had sunk.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene but were unable to rescue the swimmer. So far no details have been released on the identity of the swimmer.
