Local news opposition supports cabinet review, calls it “very backward”

The opposition supports the government’s decision to remove Minister John Haggie from the health portfolio.

Former Health Minister John Haggie and former Education Minister Tom Osborne exchanged wallets today in an unexpected ceremony.

Brazil says Haggie’s refusal to recognize the state of the province’s health care system as a “crisis” proved he could not continue in office.

He calls it “very backward.”

He says it is unfortunate that the prime minister has taken so long to make the decision, but says it as a “new beginning”. He says if the health system does not go in the right direction, the new minister will listen to all the problems the province has.
