Police in the metropolitan area are investigating what they say is a suspicious fire in a house that occurred overnight.
Lifeguards were called to the fire, which occurred on St. Empire Avenue. John’s, shortly after midnight.
According to police, an older model house was on fire with a significant amount of smoke coming out of it.
There is no word on possible injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
