Police are investigating a theft of copper wire after stopping a vehicle on a trail in Corner Brook.
The RNC detected the vehicle circulating on the downtown runway around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Subsequent research led to the discovery of various lengths of copper wire and wire cutting tools inside.
The driver was arrested pending further investigation and fined in accordance with the Traffic Act.
