Los Alamos County Reporter: Omicron COVID-19 booster clinics scheduled for October 3rd and October 10th

In conjunction with Los Alamos County, Premier Medical Group (PMG) is hosting a bivalent Omicron COVID-19 booster clinic scheduled for Monday, October 3rd, to include all eligible individuals, 12 years of age and older. On Monday, October 10, the Health Commons Office of Public Health is hosting an Omicron primary and bivalent COVID-19 booster clinic for all eligible individuals 6 months and older.

PMG will administer the Pfizer and Moderna Omicron booster vaccines on Monday, October 3rd between 10am and 4pm at First Baptist Church, 2200 Diamond Dr., Los Alamos. No insurance or identification required. Although walk-ins are accepted, appointments are preferred (see link below).

Health Commons will administer the Pfizer primary and Omicron booster vaccines on Monday, October 10 between 9 am and 3 pm at their office, 1183 Diamond Dr., Unit D, Los Alamos. People must make an appointment (see link below) and bring their ID and vaccination card.

Visit the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) immunization webpage to schedule an appointment. After logging into the appropriate NMDOH profile to schedule an appointment, individuals are encouraged to select “schedule an appointment,” enter “Los Alamos” and select “First Baptist Church” for the PMG clinic or “Santa Fe Public Health Office – Los Alamos Public Health Office” for the Health Commons clinic by clicking on the map (no event code needed).

For those having trouble scheduling an appointment, NMDOH is available any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at 1-855-600-3453 to assist. Additionally, the Los Alamos Office of Public Health is available at 505-662-4038 to assist individuals in scheduling appointments.
