Microbiologist Dami Hope will turn her telescope toward the women in the new Love Island series.
The 26-year-old Dubliner will no doubt teach his fellow contestants everything they could want to know about fungi and microbes.
A source said: “Dami is smart and muscular, with impressive credentials in the lab, as well as good looks.
“If their tasty appearance doesn’t appeal to women, it will certainly impress them with their knowledge of food hygiene and germ control.”
Dami is in line to appear in the ITV2 summer series, starting next Monday.
Other contestants who are rumored to be appearing include model Natasha Ghouri, 23, who would become the town’s first deaf contestant.

Last week, producers said contestants would receive training and guidance on the use of inclusive language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity.
Models Zach Hartman and Indiyah Polack have also been named as island potential, with the full lineup revealed this week.
Dami is lining up to appear on the ITV2 summer series starting next Monday. He certainly looks like a fashion enthusiast, judging by his Insta snaps, it is rumored that model Natasha Ghouri is the first deaf contestant in town.
