Love Island fans have slammed Luca Bish for ‘overreacting’ to being voted least compatible by his fellow islanders, hours after his mum told him to watch his behaviour.
The 23-year-old fisherman was received by his mother and father in the episode of the meeting with the parents on Sunday, and they did not avoid telling him a censure.
Luca asked her parents what they thought of her behavior and they hinted that they were less than impressed with how she was towards Tasha at times.

Her mother said: “We’ve laughed, we’ve cried and there have been times when I’ve wanted to come in and give you a good explanation.” Just sometimes overreacting. Well, Luca, when you get home we’ll talk about it.
Luca asked: “But you think with the Tasha stuff, I came out a little too strong,” to which her mother replied: “You know what? You worked it out. That’s the main thing. Yeah, you hit the mark.
He added: “If I’ve done wrong, I know it and to hear you two say it’s even more so…”
It comes after Love Island has been the subject of more than 5,000 complaints to watchdog Ofcom in the past two weeks, relating to alleged “misogynistic behaviour” and “harassment” by some of the male contestants, including Luca.

Fans took to Twitter to applaud Luca’s parents for calling him out for his actions.
One said: “The fact that Luca’s parents even know he’s overreacting about everything says a lot.”
While another echoed: “At least Luca’s mum told him they put a knob on the boys!”
A third tweeted: “Luca even your mum told you to calm down #loveisland.”

However, it seems that Luca did not want to heed his parents’ advice, after only a few hours later he started participating in the public vote.
After being saved, he sat by the fire and muttered to Gemma Owen, “Oh, I’m going to have some fun tonight,” suggesting he was about to start.
Luca later said: ‘I don’t care about the people I voted for’, adding that he sounded ‘angry’ because: ‘Fuck all I know is me and Gemma are fine but then three of you voted for me.
He is not happy: However, it seems that Luca did not want to heed the advice of his parents, after a few hours later he began to participate in the public vote.
He and Gemma sat down with Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, where they justified their vote for them.
Indiyah explained: “We know arguments are normal, but it’s the things you’re arguing about, little things like you’re so into the challenge and your protection, I just feel like it’s blown out of proportion.”
As Luca tried to fight back, Gemma maturely defused the situation, saying, “That’s their point, they can say it without us trying to fight back.”

Viewers at home slammed Luca for her reaction, saying it was over the top and hypocritical, after she called out Tasha for being upset about being at the bottom and also voted for her fellow islanders.
One said: ‘Luca so bitter they voted for him when Davide doesn’t even care that everyone voted for them. It’s a game show. Not so deep.
Another person noted: ‘Luca, your mother, has already warned you about your overreactions. Rest man’.
Hypocrite: Viewers in the house criticized Luca for his reaction, saying it was over the top and hypocritical, after he called out Tasha for being upset about being at the bottom.
A third echoed: “Luca is a baby omg how is this a full adult?” like hours after his mom said he needs to watch how he reacts to situations.”
Someone else argued: “Remember when Luca got mad at Tasha for being upset about being in the bottom 3 and said it shouldn’t matter because she and Andrew are together and that’s all that matters. And now look at his behavior tonight. Complete and utter hypocrite.’
A fifth agreed, writing: “Luca, you should be happy just being in the final with the girl you love, isn’t that the same thing you were saying to Tasha??”
And a sixth tweeted: “You know Luca is overreacting when ekin-su isn’t even making a big deal out of it.”
