Love Island: Luca leaves after Gemma calls him Jacques
Love Island received more than 200 complaints from Ofcom during its first week.
The ITV2 show returned last week for its eighth series, and fans quickly responded with the age difference between Gemma Owen and Davide Sanclimenti and rushed to the broadcast regulator to complain.
In total, the show received 167 complaints for its June 7 episode about the ages of the show’s contestants and this was the episode where we saw Gemma, 19, and Davide, 27, kissing. .
The program also received a number of complaints – 93 in total – for its June 12 program, most of which were related to the ages of the contestants. Some of the complaints were also for other areas.

Love Island returned to our screens last week for its eighth series, and there was drama almost instantly.
Gemma – who is the daughter of football legend Michael Owen – joined the show as one of the top 10 contestants, but soon Davide – who is from Italy but lives in Manchester – caused quite a stir when she entered bomb.
He seemed eager to meet all the girls, but it was Gemma who caught his eye and they soon kissed.

Gemma was initially associated with Liam, but Davide chose to steal the master’s student’s international dressage rider, and Liam Llewellyn remained single. After two failed appointments, he left the show, deciding it wasn’t for him.
Meanwhile, Davide moved to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, while Gemma joined Luca Bish.

However, there was a drama during last night’s episode, when Gemma accidentally called Luca by the name of her ex Jacques O’Neill, with the rugby player who had entered the village only a day before.
There was an all-powerful fight between them as Gemma got angry with Luca for his “exaggeration” of what he had said. Understandably, he was not happy that she had used the wrong name, especially when he was being affectionate with her.
During a chat before dating different couples, Davide and Gemma decided to talk about their age difference.

“How do you feel about being so much older than you?” Davide asked, “I mean, doesn’t that bother you?”
Gemma added: “It’s not a problem for me at all. I feel like if I were, I wouldn’t want to meet you in the first place. And like I said, I’ve been talking to guys. jo.
“It’s not something I’m not used to, you’re not the only one or anything like that. It’s very normal for me, so it’s not a problem for me but I feel like for you, it’s a problem. ? ” to which David disagreed, saying he was fine with that.
