Love Island’s Remi Lambert has accused Jacques O’Neill and Luca Bish of ‘bullying’ him in a social media post.
The 22-year-old Manchester native burst into Villa like a bombshell on day nine and was dumped just three days later when he failed to survive the coupling.
His strong words for Luca, 23, and Jacques, 23, come after the pair took part in an Instagram Live where they poked fun at Remi’s rapping skills.
Strong words: Love Island’s Remi Lambert has accused Jacques O’Neill and Luca Bish of ‘bullying’ him in a social media post.
In the video, Jacques was reading fan comments and thought he saw one from Remi, but it was actually from a fake account.
Jacques said: “Remi just commented, “How about me and my rapping?” I said that’s really good, you should turn pro.
Luca asked: “Remi comments? I can’t see the comments.
Jacques said yes and then repeated the rap comment in an apparently sarcastic tone.
Video: Their strong words for Luca, 23, and Jacques, 23, come after the pair took part in an Instagram Live where they poked fun at Remi’s rapping skills.
Luca then said: ‘Pro? A professional rapper? He doesn’t have… What will he do? Working at Harrods next year? which made Jacques laugh.
Remi shared the video on his Instagram and wrote a lengthy post accusing both Luca and Jacques of harassing him while he was in the villa and said they should have been kicked out for their behaviour.
He said: “@LoveIsland I never joined their stream so I didn’t comment. A fake account called remilamb0 did. I don’t know why these guys have such a problem with me, of course they have some serious issues that they have to solve
“Everyone said I lied about how I was treated in that villa, but this is an example of what was going on while I was in there. I don’t know why they weren’t kicked out for their behavior to be honest. No joke , are clear signs of bullying.
Statement: Remi wrote a long post accusing both Luca and Jacques of harassing him while in the villa and said they should have been kicked out for their behavior
“I wish everyone could see all the shit I went through. There’s 24 hours in a day and you’ve only seen like 3-5 10 second clips of me all day so you’d never know what was going on really
“Jacques said bad things about my appearance and the way I speak, while Luca encouraged it. After about 3 jabs from Jacques, I told him that I will not speak to him in the villa anymore.
“Later he tried to apologize but like 10 minutes later he started the snarky comments again. I’ve tried to avoid this guy several times but he always ends up starting again. I don’t know when he’s going to stop.
‘The worst person to represent mental health and ADHD campaigns. He’s still out here making fun of not only me, but other islanders as well.
Awkward: In the video, Jacques said: “Remi just said, ‘What are you saying about me and my rap?’
Support: Remi received support from her Love Island co-star Tasha Ghouri who liked her post
Unfollow: Looks like Tasha has also unfollowed Jacques on Instagram
“I would think with such a big platform they would use it to promote peace but they use it to troll and love the attention. Immature.
“These guys aren’t role models or good people. They haven’t thought once about my mental health. If I wasn’t so mentally strong, I might have done something stupid to myself by now, but they don’t care at all. I want justice.’
Remi was supported by her Love Island co-star Tasha Ghouri, who liked her post and now appears to have unfollowed Jacques on Instagram.
Remi’s statement comes after he claimed his time on the show was “ruined” following an unaired spat with Jacques.
The model reflected on his brief stay in the villa on the YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, admitting that he and Jacques clashed several times, but the scenes never aired.
As The Mirror reported, Remi said: “There was a lot that wasn’t aired, a lot going on.
Tension: Remi’s statement comes after he claimed his time on the show was ‘ruined’ following an unaired row with Jacques
“So basically, me and Jacques had a lot of arguments and he just made my experience shit. He ruined it for me.
“People said, ‘It’s because he has a rugby persona’, but you can’t treat people like that.”
When pressed by abandoned islander Afia Tonkmore about the reason for the clashes, Remi added: “He was just trying to get in touch with me.”
He also claimed that Jacques would repeatedly imitate the voice, saying phrases such as: ‘My name is Remi. I’m tough and I’m Manny’s.’
“It was really creepy but I was the only one who stood up for me because he would always do that to people and I’d like to pick him up and say ‘Shut up!'” added Remi.
“But yeah, we just had a lot of fights and stuff.”
Arguments: Remi admitted that he and Jacques fought several times, but the scenes were never aired
