Madonna’s son was wearing a boxing suit while she was wearing a pair of pants. And of course, they both wore sunglasses inside.
Madonna and David Banda show off their stripes.
The pop queen and her 16-year-old son went out together to watch Gervonta Davis defend the AMB World Lightweight Championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, dressed in matching sports-inspired clothing.
Banda, who has never shied away from a moment of fluid genre fashion, wore a tomato red three-stripe dress from the long-awaited Adidas collaboration with Gucci, previously seen by Jodie Turner-Smith at a post-Met Gala party earlier this month and will not be available for mere mortals to purchase until June 7th.
Not to mention, the 63-year-old man As a preacher hitmaker coordinated with a black striped tracksuit from Adidas’ other promoted (and sold out) collection with Balenciaga, which debuted during the luxury brand’s catwalk on the New York Stock Exchange last Sunday.
The mother-son duo stylized their looks in the same way, opting for colorful sunglasses (yellow for David, pink for Material Girl) and layered necklaces (Vivienne Westwood pendants for teen, chains and diamond-encrusted crosses for his mother).
Madonna shared a bunch of photos of Sunday night on Instagram, including a photo of her wearing a black lace balaclava and another of David getting his heels up in a hallway.
“Family Fight Night,” captioned his post.
“Iconic mother and iconic son,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “David is the coolest man on Earth right now.”
In addition to Banda, Madonna has three other adopted children: Mercy James, 16, and twins Estere and Stelle Ciccone, 9. She shares her eldest daughter Lourdes, 25, with her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, and her son 21 Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
