A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot several times in the St. Petersburg area on Thursday night. James Town of Toronto.
Toronto police say they were called to Wellesley Street East, between Ontario Street and Rose Avenue, at 10:32 p.m., to receive reports of the sound of gunfire.
They arrived and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics rushed him to a trauma center at the hospital where he remains.
Investigators did not provide any suspicious information.
