Margot Robbie will return to Neighbors alongside four other famous co-stars in the final episode of the axed soap.

Hollywood megastar Margot Robbie will appear in the historic soap opera finale.
The 32-year-old, who played Donna Freedman from 2008 to 2011, filmed the Zoom appearance sometime after the show wrapped filming on June 10.
Fellow Australians Delta Goodrem, Jesse Spencer, Holly Valance, Carla Bonner, Natalie Imbruglia and Kym Valentine, who all started the show, will return for the final.
Hollywood megastar Margot Robbie, 32, (pictured), will make a cameo in the Neighbors finale after filming a special scene.
“Everyone who worked on the soap was determined that Neighbors would end very well and when they contacted Margot she said yes straight away,” a source told The Sun.
“There was no way he wasn’t part of the historic grand finale as he has always spoken so fondly about his time on the soap and how it helped launch his film career.
“Unfortunately, he couldn’t make it to Australia to film, but he recorded a special clip which will be shown at the grand final.”
Fellow Australians Delta Goodrem (left), Jesse Spencer, Holly Valance (right), Natalie Imbruglia and Kym Valentine, who also started on the show, will return to the show for the finale.
Instead, Margot sent 37 bottles of champagne to the set, one for each year the show has been on TV.
The show’s executive producer Jason Herbison announced that Robbie had sent a gift of expensive bubbles.
The cast offered a toast after the end of filming on the show’s final day of production.
It comes after Robbie treated the cast and crew to long stacks of expensive champagne soap as they wrapped production on the show after 37 years.
Alan Fletcher, April Rose Pengilly and Emerald Chan were among the cast to thank Robbie on Instagram for the thoughtful gift.
Robbie rose to fame in the Australian soap playing aspiring fashion designer Donna Freedman, before swapping Melbourne for Hollywood.
He previously credited the show and said it was “brilliant training” for his Hollywood career and admitted he could never learn lines at the speed he used to during his soap days.

But he can’t believe how quickly he used to get through his scripts during his time on the serial drama.
She said: “I always said that after you get out of a soap everything will be easy afterwards.”
“It was a brilliant training ground. I used to sit with 60 pages on my lap in one morning and just fly through it, read it once. I have. I don’t think I can do it now.

The Birds of Prey star is also grateful that working on a soap has made her more “aware” of other departments when she’s on a film or TV set.
She said: “I think the biggest thing about working on a soap and working on a multi-camera set was being so aware of all the other departments and working within the bigger machine.”
The final will be broadcast in Australia and the UK on Friday.
