Firaxis’ new Marvel strategy game, Midnight Suns, has received an announcement of a release date today at the Summer Game Fest. It will be released on October 7, 2022 and will also feature some newly revealed characters.

The trailer also revealed Lilith, the main villain. Apparently, he will have corrupt versions of recognizable Marvel characters as minions, such as Scarlet Witch, Venom, and Hulk. He also joins the Spider-Man hero list. The movie trailer did not give much detail of the game, but we saw what each of the newly revealed characters will be like.

According to Firaxis, several editions of the game will be released, one of which includes a season pass and additional features. It will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, Steam and Epic Games Store, with a Switch edition later.

The game was originally reserved for a March release, but was delayed until the second half of 2022. It will now be released in the October window, along with Forspoken and Gotham Knights.
