MC Harvey has spoken about the moment he confessed to Alesha Dixon that he had cheated on her, admitting in a new interview, “I thought it would kill me.”
The 43-year-old So Solid Crew star had to confess to an affair with singer Javine Hilton in 2006 after details of the couple’s adventure were leaked.
Harvey has now explained how telling his then-wife Alesha what he had done was “the worst thing he has ever had to do.”

Opening up on the James English podcast, the rapper said, “The day I left Javine’s house, it was so weird. I had left her house and was driving to my house and, as I’m three miles from my house, she (Javine) called me and said “she knows, she knows” while I was driving. “
“The worst thing I’ve ever had to do is tell a woman I cheated on her.
“When I walked into the front room, Alesha just said, ‘Do you want to eat Harvey?’ And I’m thinking, ‘Yes, of course I will.’
Harvey said he sat down with Alesha to watch TV where, ironically, an episode of the Tyra Banks Show about cheating was played.

He continued, “She was there watching TV when she stopped her and my heart sank. She said, ‘How long has Harvey been here?’ And that was it.
‘I thought he was going to kill me. To this day, they are the two worst days I have spent in my home.
Harvey went on to say that he received a phone call from his mother telling him to stay home because “he owed it to her” after “breaking her heart.”
He added, “It came out in the newspapers and everyone hated me. I was a love rat. My mental health was like ‘My God.’ I went from being in a celebrity relationship and being loved to being hated in 48 hours.But she was self-inflicted.

“When I went through everything crazy, and I went through Alesha’s stuff and then obviously when I met Javine, my daughter’s mother, I should never have been with her.
“It was a toxic relationship and once I escaped and got out of the whole situation, I once said to my mom, ‘Mom, I feel like my dad.’
“My mom told me ‘never say that, there’s a difference between you and your dad, you’re aware, he’s not.’
‘They’re a lot of pressure, the money you’re making, women throwing themselves at you and just now I was thinking, why did I have a relationship at that age?
“I’m from old school and, I love being in love, I love family unity, but I should have learned more about myself and should have taken the shit out of my system.”
The British rapper met the judge of Britain’s Got Talent when they were 21 and finally the couple married at 26.
The marriage was short-lived, lasting only eight months, when Alesha discovered Harvey’s infidelity with the West End stage co-star and her mother’s future mother, Javine, in 2006.

During an appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, former Strictly Come Dancing champion and judge Alesha confessed that she felt “lost and empty” when her marriage to Harvey broke up.

Alesha found love again with her now husband Azuka Ononye.
Harvey stayed with Javine and the couple welcomed their daughter, Angel, into the world in 2008.
The two broke up after allegations that he had cheated again.
Harvey said that although his affair with Javine happened more than a decade ago, he still doesn’t talk to his father because he suspects it was his own father who leaked information about the affair.
He later married his five-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Ghamzeh Mahdizadeh, but they separated a few months later after it was claimed he had been secretly seeing American actress Elarica Johnson.

Harvey shares his 13-year-old daughter Angel with Javine, while he has a four-year-old Persian daughter from his relationship with Ghamzeh.
In December 2021, MC Harvey revealed that he would marry for the third time after proposing the proposal to his girlfriend Mia.
The rapper shared a post on his Instagram page after asking the question to his love during his birthday celebrations.
He also seemed to confirm that he shares son Koa with Mia.
