The popularity of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the UK has reached an all-time low just days before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

A YouGov poll asked 1692 adults in the UK if they felt positive or negative about the royal couple. The study found that 63 percent have a negative view of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The results showed that Harry’s favorability score had dropped from -25 in March to -26 in May, with 58% of people thinking negatively of him compared to 32% who see him as positive.
Meghan’s score dropped from -39 to -42 in the last poll, with 63 percent having a negative view of her versus 23 percent of the audience having a positive opinion.

The couple’s popularity has been declining since they left real life in early 2020 to move to the United States.
However, despite the dramatic drop in overall popularity, YouGov data journalist Connor Ibbetson said Sussex is still seen in a positive light among young people.
“Four out of 10 18- to 24-year-olds (42%) view Harry positively and 33% view him negatively, a net score of +9,” he said.
“This young age group is more closely divided on Meghan with a net score of +2, with 38% seeing her positively and 36% negatively.
“Older generations see Harry and Meghan badly,” he said. “Its popularity is gradually declining with each older age group, reaching a minimum of -65 and -79, respectively among British people aged 65 and over.”
The results come as the couple prepares to visit England with their children for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which mark their 70th year on the throne.
