Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas, has been rushed to hospital after suffering a possible “stroke”.
The 77-year-old was photographed on Monday arriving at a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, just days before flying to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
In the photo, the Duchess of Sussex’s father was photographed surrounded by paramedics while lying on a stretcher with an oxygen mask tied to his face.
Supposedly, Thomas was so ill that he could not speak and had to write down his symptoms for paramedics. TMZ reports that he had a “possible stroke”.
A friend told the publication that he “remains hospitalized” and his condition is stabilized.
He went to the hospital in Mexico where he lives and was then taken by ambulance across the border to a San Diego hospital on a stretcher and wearing an oxygen mask, according to reports.
His son Thomas Jr. was with him. His daughter Samantha is flying from Florida to be with him too.
Samantha Markle told the Daily Mail that her father “just needs peace and rest,” adding that his family is “praying” for him to recover soon.
