Meghan Markle’s strange father, Thomas Markle Sr., has said he “had no plans” to meet his daughter in the UK during the Queen’s jubilee, before a stroke ruined his plans.
Thomas was to visit the United Kingdom for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, while his daughter Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, were there for the same reason; marked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first trip to the UK with her children, Archie and Lilibet, since 2020.
However, Thomas had a “near-fatal” stroke just before the Jubilee weekend, which ruined his plans to travel to the United Kingdom.
Speaking a Insider about the same, Thomas said: “I had a stroke and was unable to attend the Jubilee and I am still recovering, but it was my intention to come and show my respect to the Queen, the Royal Family and the British people.”
“He was invited to the Jubilee by Dan Wootton and Lady Colin Campbell and other friends in Britain. I didn’t expect to see my daughter and Harry, “he said.
Earlier, before he suffered a stroke, Thomas had said on his YouTube channel on May 21: “I don’t think we’ll run into each other, I don’t think we’re going to the same places, but I’m sure there will be times when there will be glances between me. and my daughter and my son-in-law, and we just have to listen to him. ”
