Meta CFO David Wehner will take on a new role as the company’s first chief strategy officer, effective Nov. 1, according to the company’s second quarter earnings report. Susan Li, Meta’s current vice president of finance, will be the new CFO of parent Facebook

Meta shares fell slightly in after-hours trading as the company reported a loss in earnings and a steeper-than-expected drop in revenue. The stock has lost about half its value since the start of the year, underscoring investor concerns about the health of the company’s core online advertising business.

Wehner will oversee the company’s strategy and corporate development in his new role.
