Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday posted on issues with the country and topped the list with the acquittal of former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer.
“Our legal system is CORRUPT, our judges (and judges!) Are very partisan, committed or just scared, our borders are OPEN, our elections are manipulated, inflation is rampant, gasoline prices and costs of food is “on the roof”. Our military “leadership” is Woke, our country will go to HELL and Michael Sussmann is not to blame. How’s the rest? Enjoy your day !!! ” Trump wrote in a post on the social media Truth.
On Tuesday, Michael Sussmann, a lawyer whose firm represented Clinton in 2016, pleaded not guilty to lying to the FBI in the first trial of special counsel John Durham’s three-year investigation.

A federal jury deliberated for six hours before reaching its verdict.
Republican strategist Jay Townsend told Newsweek that the verdict is unlikely to deter Trump from continuing to discredit the so-called collusion “witch hunt” against him.
“Michael Sussmann’s acquittal will not change Mr. Trump’s version of Russia’s deception,” Townsend said. “She will continue to blame the investigation on Ms. Clinton, the FBI, the Justice Department, and the swamp creatures hiding in the dark corners of the federal bureaucracy. of the bad guys I treated unfairly. “
Tuesday’s verdict struck Durham, who was named by the Trump administration to look for a crime in the Trump-Russia investigation.
Durham prosecutors argued that Sussmann lied about warning the FBI in good faith and that he hid his ties to Democrats, allegations that Sussmann’s lawyers called “political conspiracy theory” during the final arguments of Sussmann. last week.
“I told the FBI the truth, and the jury clearly acknowledged it with its unanimous verdict,” Sussmann told reporters in court on Tuesday. “Despite being falsely accused, I am relieved that justice has finally prevailed in my case.”
Igor Danchenko, a Russian-born researcher who was a key source for the so-called Steele dossier, is also facing charges of misrepresentation stemming from the Durham investigation. The trial is set to end this year.
