Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella used her keynote address during her company’s Build conference this week to promote new offerings such as Microsoft Dev Box, Power Pages and “live sharing” to Teams and to update developers on the tech giant’s investments in technologies ranging from low code and no code to metavers.
“We’re building Microsoft Cloud as a platform to help you create your own platforms,” Nadella said. “Here at this conference, we are announcing more than 50 new products and features that cover every layer of the stack. These are your platforms to build on.”
He continued: “Ultimately, it’s about maximizing the opportunity for each developer by providing the richest set of technologies and platforms that allow you to dream and build what’s to come, freeing you from any arbitrary restrictions and eliminating friction because you can reach all people, and all corners of the planet. ”

Microsoft held its Build Online conference this week as the world continues to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new Azure previews announced during the conference include the Azure OpenAI service, the AI dashboards in Azure Machine Learning, and a web application routing add-on for the Azure Kubernetes service were some of the most important announcements of Microsoft’s Azure during this year’s Build conference for developers.

This summer, there will be previews of approval APIs for front-line and office Teams users, a Figma app, new license management capabilities in the Teams App Store, a link deployment expansion, and an app maintenance of Bosch cognitive service in Teams, among other new features.
