The Microsoft Go series of laptops has been well received so far. They may not reach maximum performance levels in their respective form factors, but they usually offer a good experience for the price. With the Surface Laptop Go 2, Microsoft is looking to continue this trend.
With the new Surface Laptop Go 2, Microsoft is committed to offering all the good things of the first model, adding a better CPU and webcam, longer battery life and improved thermals. Based on the minimalist design of its predecessor, the laptop will be available in platinum, blue, stoneware and sage.
The new laptop will be available in four configurations (RAM / ROM): 4GB / 128GB, 8GB / 128GB, 8GB / 256GB and 16GB / 256GB. All will include an Intel Core i5-1135G7 4C / 8T and will include a 12.4-inch screen with a resolution of 1536 × 1024 (3: 2 aspect ratio). In addition to the new chip, Microsoft also claims that the battery life was extended by 30 minutes, from 13 to 13.5 hours, and the webcam was replaced by a better one, although the resolution (720p) it remains the same.
