An Alberta couple who went missing Wednesday after being last known to be in Whitehorse on July 20 or 21 has been found, according to RCMP.
In a news release Friday morning, police said Owen and Susan Konski are safe.
“Although there were reports on Thursday evening that they had been found or had been in contact with friends, police cannot officially close a missing person investigation until we have had direct contact with the reported person,” said the communicated
The RCMP thanked the public in the Yukon, BC and Alberta for being on the lookout for the couple.
