A missing Saskatoon mother and her son have been found alive and well, according to the Saskatoon Police Service.
Dawn Walker and her son were reported at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Oregon City, Oregon
The two entered the United States illegally, according to a news release Friday.
The Saskatoon Police Service said US authorities are considering the implications and any potential action as a result of illegal entry into the US.
He added that a press conference on any updates would be held on Monday.

Walker and her son were last seen on July 22 in Saskatoon, and their truck was found parked at Chief Whitecap Park on July 25.

Walker is the CEO of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN), which represents 74 Saskatchewan First Nations.

The Saskatoon Police Service, Saskatchewan RCMP and several other organizations, including the FSIN, have been searching for Walker and her son since they were reported missing.

The boy’s father created a website to help raise awareness and find his son.
In an email, the father said he was a little overwhelmed by the news that police found his son safe, that he was making arrangements to pick him up Friday night and that he was glad his prayers have been answered.
Crimesstoppers and police were offering a $10,000 reward for information to help find Walker and her son.
Walker’s mother, Theresa, released a statement on the discovery of her daughter and grandson, saying she was delighted to hear they were both safe.
“Our prayers have been answered. The past 15 days have been extremely difficult for our family and community,” Theresa said.
