A Mississauga high school teacher has been charged with sexual exploitation after allegedly approaching a young man and asking him to have sex on several occasions.
Peel Regional Police does not say which high school the teacher works at, nor does it say whether the alleged victim was a student at the high school in question.
According to investigators from the Peel Police Special Victims Unit, a man allegedly invited the young man to have sex on several occasions between September and November 2019.
The young man denied the advances, according to police.
Investigators arrested a man on Monday (June 20).
Daniel Hayes, 40, of Guelph, is charged with sexual exploitation. He was arrested on bail.
The investigation continues and the police want to talk to anyone else who may have information.
