American model Chrissy Teigen called out a fan who didn’t “recognize” her in a new photo posted to Instagram.
“I’ve had these teeth for about 10 years,” the cookbook author replied on Sunday, referring to her veneers.
In a follow-up comment, Teigen added, “You guys are something” when a separate fan asked why she’s always “changing” her face, Page Six reports.
The comments came alongside an adorable photo of Teigen, 36, enjoying a boat ride with son Miles lying on top of her.
“Continue with this one somehow,” he captioned the button.
Despite the critical comments from her followers, the Cravings founder was glowing in the picture, likely because she is pregnant again after suffering a tragic loss almost two years ago.
“The past few years have been an emotional blur to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” Teigen began in the lengthy caption that announced the news last week.
“1 billion shots later (most recently in the leg, as you can see!) we have another one on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘OK, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce it,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too nervous.”
Teigen shared how nervous she was to announce the news publicly after she and husband John Legend’s third child, Jack, was stillborn in October 2020, but explained how she’s getting through those emotions.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of a date with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and amazing,” she wrote. “Okay, ugh, it’s been really hard to keep this up for so long!”
