More than 105 guestrooms at Manly’s Q Station hotel, cafe and restaurant were in the dark, forcing several guests to leave early.

At the Manly Skiff Club, 300 lunch reservations were canceled and reservations were put on hold to see the state of origin.

According to its website, Ausgrid said it aimed to regain energy before 11 p.m.

The underground fault is located at the North Head substation.
