Mudslide on Highway 3

This DriveBC webcam shot from 6 kilometers east of Eastgate shows water on Highway 3. Storms hit the area on Monday.
UPDATE 6:25 p.m
DriveBC has confirmed a mudslide has occurred on Highway 3 east of Manning Park, but the road is open.
“Debris on road. Assessment ongoing. Expect delays,” a statement to DriveBC said.

Highway 3 is closed between Princeton and Hope.
DriveBC says it has received reports of a mudslide east of Manning Park.

A post on a BC Highways Facebook group says the road is closed and there is currently no estimated reopening time or detour.
Thunderstorms have passed through the Manning Park area this afternoon.
