The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) have new plans to share how to bring sample fragments from Mars to Earth in the near future.
Along with the plan, there will be a press conference about the return of the Mars samples on July 27 at 11 a.m. EDT.
The project aims to bring samples from Mars collected by the Mars Perseverance rover to Earth in early 2033.
Samples from Mars will be examined for signs of ancient Martian life, including information about the red planet’s evolution over thousands of years.
