NSW has reported 7540 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Twenty-five people died from the virus, however, NSW Health said this included previously unreported deaths, as some deaths have occurred since mid-April.
There are 1139 people hospitalized with the virus and 33 in the ICU, a decrease compared to yesterday.
Yesterday, the state registered 1173 hospitalizations and 34 admissions to the ICU.
Victoria recorded 8,737 cases of COVID-19 overnight.
Twenty-two people died from the virus.
Similarly in NSW, there has been a decline in hospital admissions since yesterday with 540 people hospitalized with the virus and 32 in the ICU.
The state registered 571 hospitalizations and 33 admissions to the ICU yesterday.
