Nick Kyrgios feels “fresh and ready” in the Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic

Wimbledon will offer a “delicious” men’s singles final tomorrow while Australian Nick Kyrgios will face Novak Djokovic.

The bad guy in Australian tennis tells A Current Affair that he feels “cool and I feel ready to leave.”

The enormity of the “Nick vs Novak” game is not lost on the Melbourne player, who says he dreams of being the one holding the trophy at the end of the day.

“I’m literally playing in the biggest tournament in the world,” he said.

The two have been going face to face off the court for years, but in less than 24 hours, it will be tennis.

“I feel like he loves me now,” Kyrgios says of his relationship with Djokovic.

“We’ve had a romance since he was the only player and the only kind of teammate who defended him when they put him in a refugee hotel.”
