A baby has been found dead at a home in Sydney’s west following a welfare check concern.
Emergency services were called to a house in Doonside just after 10am on Monday.
A nine-month-old boy was found unresponsive and treated at the scene by paramedics.

However, the child could not be revived.

A police investigation is now underway.
“Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death,” a NSW Police spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au.
