UPDATE
11:25 AM PT – Holder’s lawyer tells us he was attacked by two people while in his detention cell on Tuesday, which is believed to have been a razor cut off his head. They needed 3 staples in the back of the head … Supposedly, Holder lost consciousness during the attack.
Nipsey Hussle’s alleged killer, Eric Holder, was jumped by other inmates as he went to court … and the beating was so bad that he apparently needed stitches to close his wounds.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Holder was waiting Tuesday to catch the bus to court for his murder trial when he was jumped, which caused the trial to be delayed.
Today we are in the courtroom and the Holder appeared with stitches on the back of his head. Holder also appears to have his left eye slightly swollen, plus more sutures cutting through his hair.
It’s interesting … Holder and his defense attorneys wear facial coverings, something they haven’t generally done in the past.

The jury is also in the courtroom, but so far no one has addressed Holder’s injuries … the judge, prosecution and defense are moving forward as if nothing had happened.
As we reported … the murder trial began with gruesome details about Nipsey’s shooting death, with Holder allegedly telling Nipsey, “You’re done” before killing the rapper.
