Officials from the Timiskaming Health Unit ave announced the outbreak at the Northview Nursing Home has ended.
The Timiskaming Health Unit worked closely with representatives from Northview Nursing Home. Northview Nursing Home took all necessary precautions to reduce the risk of infection and prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
Meantime local health unit officials are also reporting there are currently 18 official active cases of COVID-19 in the district. They add there are three patients hospitalized with/due to COVID. They also say there is one admission to the ICU due to COVID.
