Sky News presenter Peta Credlin says doing “the right thing” doesn’t mean “dividing Australians by race” or “saying some are more equal than others”.
This comes after Greens leader Adam Bandt’s rejection of the Australian flag and recent comments by Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe on The Channel 10 Project that the flag does not represent it as it has “connotations of invasion and dispossession”.
Ms Credlin said the “real agenda” Mr Bandt and Ms Thorpe are working on is not “equality but superiority”.
“It’s not about treating Aboriginal people equally, it’s about preferring Aboriginal people over others.”
