Australian journalists held Chinese Ambassador Xiao Qian’s “feet to the fire” during his speech at the Press Club on Wednesday, says Sky News presenter Andrew Bolt.
“And it was totally exposed today,” Bolt said.
“It is not surprising, however, when a lackey of a communist dictatorship tests his lines and tricks on journalists who were raised to be free.
“In the end, Xiao Qian is still a mouthpiece for the world’s most dangerous dictatorship, which revolves around this evil empire.
“It was fascinating television, and I hope the tape is shown in schools as a lesson in the power of free speech.”
