A man has been shot by police after two more people were stabbed on the south coast of NSW.
Police were called to a property on Albert Street in Nowra following reports of a domestic violence incident at noon on Saturday.
A man armed with a knife then threatened police before being shot by one of the officers.

A 27-year-old woman was found with stab wounds to the neck before paramedics rushed her to St George’s Hospital in serious but stable condition.
A man was found at the scene with stab wounds and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital in stable condition.
Nowra resident Stacey Long said she was driving home when she saw the body of a man lying in a canal.
“He was unconscious, face down, as if he wasn’t moving,” he told the South Coast Register.
Ms. Long claimed she saw a group of police officers around the body with one of them holding a taser.
“It wasn’t until I looked at Facebook and saw that it was a shooting. I realized I had seen something full.
A critical incident team from the homicide team of the state crime command has opened an investigation.
