NRL Team Lists: Round 13

Titans v Cowboys, Thursday 7.50pm at AAMI Park

Titans: Patron Tino Fa’asuamaleaui had 23 shutouts in 271 yards against the Broncos, so his absence from the Origin service will feel very serious. Moeaki Fotuaika returns from an ankle injury to the strut and Isaac Liu goes to close to fill the hole left by Fa’asuamaleaui.

Patrick Herbert (knee) returns to the center, pushing Esan Marsters to the bench. Midfielder Toby Sexton and winger Jamayne Isaako suffered shoulder injuries against Brisbane, but have been appointed to play.

Cowboys: Jason Taumalolo’s return from a knee injury is a big boost with Val Holmes, Reuben Cotter, Tom Dearden and Jeremiah Nanai in the service of the Maroons. Murray Taulagi and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow were also part of Billy Slater’s 22-man team in Queensland, but have been released to play for the Cowboys. Tabuai-Fidow moves to the centers to take Holmes’ place, Brendan Elliot comes in and Ben Hampton is the ninth five-eighth.

Sea Eagles v Warriors, Saturday 7:35 p.m., at 4 Pines Park

Sea eagles: The absence of Daly Cherry-Evans in the Origin service is offset by the return of Martin Taupau (quad), Jason Saab (tip) and Karl Lawton (suspension). Saab will play its first game since the eighth round, taking over from Jorge Taufua on the sidelines, while Lawton and Taupau are on the bench.

A scrum-based mix makes Kieran Foran slide in the middle and Josh Schuster moved to five-eighths in the absence of DCE. Dylan Walker has been named on the bench despite suffering a knee injury to the Storm. Jake Trbojevic became the new captain.

Warriors: Hooker Wayde Egan (knee) and back rower Bayley Sironen (pubic osteitis) have been named to return in a push for the Warriors looking to avoid a fifth loss at a trot. Egan takes over from Freddy Lussick, who turns 18, while Sironen joins the bench at the expense of Dunamis Lui
