Police are looking for another man after a nine-year-old girl was injured in a shooting south of Sydney.
One man is already under arrest in connection with the shooting, but Detective Superintendent Grant Taylor said at least one other was involved and is now “at large.”
Emergency services rushed to a home on Queens Road, Connells Point after reports of up to five bullets fired around 5:50 p.m. Friday.

Police began first aid to a nine-year-old girl before ambulance paramedics arrived.
She was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick in stable condition with injuries to her buttocks.
Taylor said the girl was with her mother and two siblings unpacking groceries from the car when a black BMW that was idling nearby arrived, a man came out and fired several shots at the family.
The mother and two other children were not injured.

“What we will say is that this, this premise, was definitely the intended target. An individual at this venue is known to us. It is not yet known if the children were the intended target,” Taylor added.
There was also a shooting on the same street last year in November. Taylor said police are investigating whether the two are related.
“Too early to determine that it is enough to say that there is some ongoing dispute or some altercation,” Taylor said.
Taylor said the perpetrators are not related to cycling, but are related to organized crime.
“This incident is not related to any recent activity or shooting that the Erebus working group is investigating,” Taylor said.
“It’s connected to criminal networks known to us.”

The man has been denied bail and will go to court today.
A stolen red Mini Cooper was found parked on Annette Street, Oatley, and Taylor said it had been parked there for several days.
A stolen black BMW, the car he was seen driving in the house before the shooting, was found burned on Annette Street.
