Ontario reported 15 net deaths from COVID-19 on Friday, as the number of patients hospitalized with the virus fell to an all-time low since April 1.

There have been 64 deaths in the last seven days and 460 in the last 30.
A total of 13,210 deaths from COVID-19 have been confirmed in Ontario since March 2020.
The Ontario COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Board, citing wastewater monitoring data, says the prevalence of the virus is stable or declining in all regions of the province.
In the GTA, the table says that the SARS-COV-2 virus wastewater signal is at its lowest point since the arrival of the original Omicron variant in December 2021.
The Ministry of Health said that on Friday there were 948 patients in the hospital who tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the lowest overall COVID-positive patient count reported on a business day with full data available as of April 1, 2022.
The number of patients in intensive care remained unchanged from Thursday, at 154. It has fallen by seven since last Friday and has fallen by 57 last month.
Of these, 68 were breathing with the help of a fan, 13 less than a week ago.
Of the 1,096 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed by PCR testing, the Ministry of Health says 120 involved unvaccinated or partially vaccinated people, 167 people with two injections of the COVID-19 vaccine, 732 people with three or more injections of the vaccine and the vaccination status of another 77 people was unknown.
Provincial laboratories processed 13,316 test samples in the previous period, generating a positivity rate of 8.4 percent.
The average positivity of the tests stood at nine percent over the past seven days, down from 10.9 percent the previous week.
The province said on Thursday that 22,490 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered.
Of these, 1,052 were first doses, 1,314 were second doses, 2,277 third doses, and 17,847 fourth doses.
In all age groups, 84.6% of Ontario residents have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 81.5% have received two doses, and 49.2% have received three or more more doses.
The numbers used in this story are in the COVID-19 Daily Epidemiological Summary of the Ontario Ministry of Health. The number of cases for any city or region may differ slightly from what the province reports, because local units report figures at different times.
