The assault charge filed after a “heated exchange” between customer and Atherley Road business employee, says Orillia OPP
A man from Orillia has been charged after an employee was assaulted at a local business.
Shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a business on Atherley Road to report a disturbance.
Officers arrived and witnessed “a heated exchange by which an individual assaulted an employee of the store,” Orillia OPP said in a press release.
As a result, Trevor Griffiths, 50, has been charged with assault. He was released on bail and will be in Orillia Court on August 9th.
