Paul McCartney or took a position in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard saga, possibly one in favor of JD, O … is just playing a melody / music video featuring the guy.

Macca performed in Orlando on Saturday at Camping World Stadium – just one of his many stops on the ‘Got Back’ tour he’s doing right now – and at one point in the show … he started performing his theme “My Valentine,” whose visual treatment has a cameo by Depp.

Watch this video, obtained by TMZ, showing PMC singing on the piano, while an interesting image appears on the jumbo screens that flank the stage: it’s Johnny playing the guitar, in front of Natalie Portman … who also appears in the music of Paul 2012. video.

We are told that when Johnny first appeared in front of everyone … the whole stadium lost him and cheered him on. Paul didn’t say anything to address it, he just kept playing, but we are told that there is no doubt that the feeling in the room was that he had done it on purpose.

Now, there have been reports that Paul has been using this song and visual treatment during his tour this year … which coincided with the trial. Sources tell us that during Paul’s last tour, the “Freshen Up Tour” from 2018 to 2019, he didn’t touch that.

So at first glance … it looks like he deliberately chose to have this on his list of dishes and make a cameo of Depp. And if you buy this, you could probably argue that it’s Johnny’s team.

Not to go too far through that rabbit hole here, BUT … some online have also made some interesting comparisons between Johnny’s sitch and Paul’s once upon a time. For those who remember, he went through a nasty divorce with Heather Mills … who accused him at the time of some very horrible things, which echo what has been accused of JD.

Anyway, this is just a more public vote of confidence for Johnny, or so it seems.
