Roger Waters got into a heated debate with a CNN anchor about who is really to blame for the war in Ukraine, saying that it is actually the US and NATO that are fueling the ongoing conflict.
The Pink Floyd rocker sat down with Michael Smerconish on his weekend show, and they were also dishing on Ukraine and China … with RW taking the stance that all is not as it seems when it comes to who it’s the fighter’s fault for dragging so long.
See… he says that we the States are partly to blame for keeping it going by not pressuring Zelensky to come to an agreement with Putin for a ceasefire, but instead continuing to fund/supply the their military efforts (Ukraine’s, that is).
Smerconish rejects this, noting that here Roger seems to be pointing the finger at the country that was invaded, but there, too, Roger doubles down… and says that this was much longer than just a year, arguing that NATO has fanned the flames.
When confronted with the idea that America has an obligation to step in and be “liberators”… Roger loses it a bit, saying that they have no place in the world, even countering that they won’t get involved. World War II until Pearl Harbor was attacked.
One last thing…they also talk about Taiwan, and Roger again opines that the nation does, in fact, belong to the People’s Republic, despite what the US may think.

Sounds very pro-China/pro-Russia… at least that seems to be the consensus on Twitter, and the guy is getting a lot of flak for it. Roger, however, seems fixed in his mindset.
