A man and a woman are expected to face off in court after verbally abusing a mobile camera operator in west Melbourne.
The incident is the latest in a series of attacks targeting speed camera vehicles and Victoria operators.
Police said a man approached the car from the traffic camera parked on Exford Road, Melton South, around 5:05 p.m. last Tuesday. Another camera attendant was pointed separately at Rye on Monday, when a golf ball went through the back window while they were inside. (new)
He allegedly verbally abused the camera operator sitting in the vehicle while trying to get into the car.
While police were talking to Aintree’s 36-year-old man, a woman allegedly began abusing officers and the operator.
Police said she initially refused to give her details and was arrested to confirm her identity.

Once police were able to confirm her identity, Melton South’s 51-year-old wife was released and she and the man left the area.
Both parties are expected to be summoned for unlawful assault for appearing in an investigative court at a later date.
