Police arrest 3 men and identify dead man stabbed in Mission

Police have arrested three men and identified the man stabbed to death in the Mission Monday afternoon as 26-year-old David Leggat.

Police said they arrested one man shortly after the stabbing and two more on Tuesday. No charges have been filed.

Officers and paramedics responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a man suffering from stab wounds in the 7200 block of Park Street.

Emergency first aid was administered, but the man died from his injuries, according to a statement from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).

The homicide appears to be an isolated incident, with no ties to Lower Mainland gang conflict, said RCMP Sgt. Timothy Pierotti.
