Police officers investigating a serious collision on the A127 in Southend have now identified a woman who was injured during the incident.
Officers received reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle near the intersection with Victoria Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. today, Friday, May 27th.
The cyclist, a woman, was seriously injured.
Police made an urgent call for information to identify the woman.
An Essex police spokesman said: “We have identified the woman, she has been taken to hospital and our investigations are continuing. Thank you for your support in sharing our call.
