Identification of the homicide victim

Arrests have been made and the victim has been identified in a Monday homicide in Mission.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the victim is 26-year-old David Leggat.
At approximately 3:30 Monday afternoon, Mission RCMP responded to a report of a man suffering fatal stabbing injuries. First responders were unable to save the man.
Shortly thereafter, police arrested a man in connection with the homicide and on Tuesday, two more men were arrested. So far, however, no charges have been filed.
A residence in Mission is currently being held pending a search warrant, according to police.
IHIT released Leggat’s name in an effort to advance their research.
Police say the homicide appears to be an isolated incident and are asking anyone who knew Leggat to contact them.
Witnesses are asked to contact the IHIT or attend the Mission RCMP detachment.
