Merseyside police have released a picture of a man they would like to talk to after they were shot dead on a Bootle bench on Monday.
Earlier this week, emergency services arrived at Strand Mall after it was reported that shots had been fired at the Halifax branch. Police confirmed that they had received a report that a “weapon” had been fired at the branch inside the center, before a man left the scene with a dark mountain bike.
No injuries were reported, but bank staff and customers were “extremely shaken” by the incident. On Tuesday, the force confirmed that the firearm was a “target fire and not a viable firearm.”
