Pfizer Inc. vaccines and BioNTech SE modified to target the Omicron variant produced a significantly greater immune response than the vaccine currently available from companies in one study, they said.
A modified booster vaccine targeted at Omicron specifically increased neutralizing antibody levels by 13.5 to 19.6 times more than the current vaccine in study volunteers one month after administration, depending on the dose, the companies said Saturday.
